Watershed cinema etiquette film
Producer/editor: As Watershed’s first ever Content Creator I was tasked with responding to feedback we were receiving from cinema-goers about audience behaviour during screenings. I spent time working closely with Watershed's ushers and researching how other organisations had approached this, before conceptualising a video and commissioning an animator. Inclusion is paramount to Watershed, and so I wanted the BSL translation to be a part of the piece rather than an afterthought. This video is now shown on the big screen across three cinemas before every film.
Rife magazine's crowdfunder video
Producer/Editor: To launch their crowdfunding campaign for a book of essays, written entirely by young people under the age of 24, Rife magazine approached me to create a video to spearhead their messaging. The video was designed for social media and to appeal to different audiences: Rife’s core readers of 13-24 year olds and grown-ups (you know, the ones with actual money).
freedom of mind festival
Editor: During 2016 I volunteered for a new organisation called Freedom of Mind. Together we organised a 10 day festival focused on getting Bristol (particularly young people) talking openly about mental health, with events at the O2 Academy Bristol, book signings, spoken word and comedy nights, and much more. I led the communications team and edited all of our video output, including this video summarising the experience.
